This course will introduce the languages, tools and basic design principals used to construct a website. It is an ideal course for artists who want an affordable way to promote their work on the web or share it with family and friends. The class will cover the basics of authoring web content using HTML and Dreamweaver. Students will have an opportunity to begin constructing their own websites incorporating text, graphics and photographs. Familiarity with Photoshop is recommended. Understanding of the Macintosh operating system required. Students may work on their projects outside of class in the ASUC Art Studio computer lab.
