Beginning Color Printing

This class will cover all aspects of making prints from color negatives. In the first week, we will discuss exposing color film and demonstrate printing techniques for color photography. The following four class meetings will be devoted to supervised printing time and evaluation of student work. Emphasis will be placed on interpreting and controlling colors as they appear on the print and development of good color printing habits. By the end of the class, you will be able to produce beautiful color enlargements with minimal frustration. Knowledge of black and white darkroom skills is required.
