What
distinguishes a compelling photograph
from a snapshot? This course will
introduce beginning photographers
to the visual elements that comprise
the language of photography. Through
weekly photographic assignments
on color slide film, you’ll
learn to operate your camera,
select and capture the most visually
interesting elements of your subject,
and add impact to your images.
Students need access to a 35mm
camera that has manually adjustable
exposure controls. No point-and-shoots!
Film and processing are not included
in course fee.
