Introduction to Digital Video Production

This class is a hands-on introduction to all aspects of video production. Through a series of in-class exercises, students will learn creative production techniques. Each student will get the opportunity to shoot video, record audio, work with lights, direct and get an introduction to the non-linear editing program Final Cut Pro. With students serving as the production crew, the class will collaborate to create a short video production during scheduled class time. Students are also encouraged to work on their own projects outside of class. Editing and camera use is included in class fee.
